Ward 5 deserves leadership that looks like its people, listens like a neighbor, and leads with purpose.
My name is Mohamed Omar, and I’m running for Grove City Council because I believe in a future where everyone has a voice and a seat at the table. As a proud first-generation American, educator, and community advocate, I’ve spent my life helping others navigate complex systems and access opportunities they deserve.
I’m not running to make a name for myself. I’m running to make sure everyone else's name gets called too. Together, we can build a city that works for all of us.
Grove City is changing, and with that change comes the need for thoughtful, inclusive leadership. As our community grows, we must make sure that progress benefits everyone, not just a select few. I am running for City Council to bring a new perspective, honest leadership, and a commitment to making sure every resident, no matter their background or zip code, has a voice in the decisions that shape our city. This campaign is also about opening the door for young people to take part in local government. Our future depends on leaders who reflect the energy, diversity, and values of the entire community.
