Grove City is changing, and with that change comes the need for thoughtful, inclusive leadership. As our community grows, we must make sure that progress benefits everyone, not just a select few. I am running for City Council to bring a new perspective, honest leadership, and a commitment to making sure every resident, no matter their background or zip code, has a voice in the decisions that shape our city. This campaign is also about opening the door for young people to take part in local government. Our future depends on leaders who reflect the energy, diversity, and values of the entire community.
Every contribution, big or small, helps us connect with more voters across Grove City. Your support funds yard signs, campaign literature, that helps us share Mohamed Omar’s vision for a more inclusive, responsive city government.
Whether it’s $5 or $50, your contribution makes a difference, and I’m deeply grateful for your support.
Real change happens when everyday people show up. Whether you're an experienced campaigner or a first-time volunteer, we need your help to engage voters and share Mohamed’s message across Grove City.
Your voice matters, and your vote is your power. Electing Mohamed Omar to Grove City Council At-Large means electing a leader who listens, who understands your story, and who will always put people before politics.
Rooted in Service. Driven by Community.
Raised by hardworking immigrant parents, I was taught that success isn’t just about what you achieve, it’s about how you lift others along the way. That value has guided every part of my career.
As an educator and advocate, I’ve worked in higher education, student success, and community outreach, helping young people find purpose, supporting families through the college process, and working with schools to better serve diverse communities.
In every role I’ve held, I’ve seen firsthand how policy shapes people’s lives, which is why I believe policy must be personal. I’ve sat with families struggling to be heard, walked with students seeking guidance, and fought alongside neighbors trying to build a better life. I bring that lived experience and deep empathy into this campaign and into every room where decisions are made.
Leadership should feel familiar — grounded in the same streets, schools, and stories that shape the rest of us. That’s who I am, and that’s the kind of councilmember I’ll be.
This campaign is rooted in community and built on the belief that leadership should reflect the people it serves. Every contribution helps us reach more voters, share our message, and build a stronger future for Grove City. I am committed to listening, showing up, and leading with purpose. Your support makes that possible.
